Some but not most members choose to participate in the following organized activities: 
AKC Conformation Championship titling 
AKC Junior Showmanship handing for children 
AKC Obedience
Agility
Barn Hunt, Scent Work, Lure Coursing, Herding (all part of a TT's historical roots)  
Learning Tricks and Doggie Dancing
 Making 'therapy' visits to the elderly or infirmed
Reading to children at local libraries 
and other fun family activities such as hiking, snow-shoeing & camping.
