When you are out with your TTs, have you been stopped at one time or another with the question “What kind of dog is that?”.
Some of those folks then call a TT Breeder or TT Rescue to see about obtaining one of those really cute, well-mannered creatures.
This page, edited by Club Member Sandy Benton, is devoted to telling interesting True Tales about TTs.
For example, Sandy had a litter sired by a known escape artist. When the puppies were tall enough to reach the latch on their run, they began to let themselves out. She thought to prevent this by raising the latch out of reach. Two puppies stood on their hind legs and in tandem proceeded to push a plastic crate over to the gate where one climbed on top and was therefore able to reach and open the latch.
She saw this clever maneuver from the kitchen window but alas, did not catch it on video.
So… if you have a TRUE TALE about your TT showing the mischievous, intelligent, independent thinking, problem solving side of its personality, please email or call Sandy to include your anecdote. If you have pictures or videos of your TT caught in the act, email that, too to put on this page of the RMTTC website and be therefore available to potential puppy buyers and rescue adopters to help them make a more informed decision concerning if a TT is right for their family.
